Editor, Mariana Pestana will chair the session and she will be joined by a variety of speakers including Nelly Ben Hayoun and Studio Good One.

Bodybuilding - Architectures for the Body is the topic.

The relations between space and the senses have been widely explored in architectural theory. Yet the practice of those relations, the investigations into their depth, limits and effects has been conducted perhaps more through the fields of art and design. This live debate will display and discuss radical, profound, sensorial spatial experiences.

de magazineMariana Pestana is a qualified architect, writer and curator, her work revolves around places where art and architecture meet. Mariana holds an MA in Creative Practices for Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins, and is a founding member of The Decorators.

Sitraka Rakotoniaina is a co-founder of Studio Good One. The practice embraces conceptual design, graphic design, interactive design, exhibition and space design, and the points at which they may converge.

Nelly Ben Hayoun is a director and experience designer from France, living and working in London. Her work is about collaboration with experts-scientists and amateurs, adapting science and the everyday to suit our creative needs.

Pedro Bandeira is Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture of Universidade do Minho (Guimarães). He was invited by the Ministry of Culture to integrate the Metaflux exhibition.
