Elly Ward Morris

Phil Coffey founded Coffey Architects in 2005 to pursue a passion for architecture, people and place. He is a hands-on studio leader, and enjoys the process of building strong client relationships to deliver exceptional projects that inspire and delight.
Phil is a regular contributor to the debate on architecture and urbanism, including public speaking and written and broadcast commentary for press. Phil is active on both the Lewisham and Islington Council Planning Design Review Panels, a UCL Bartlett design critic and a RIBA external assessor for the undergraduate and master programmes at Cardiff University, Welsh School of Architecture. He is also a curator for Lighting Magazine, and an active member of the Van Alen. He is currently doing a PhD in Creative Practice at the University of Cardiff.

Hannah Corlett - Assemblage

Elly Ward MorrisHannah Corlett is co-founder of ASSEMBLAGE, a studio of architects and urban designers. Hannah is design lead for the Masters in Architecture in Historic Urban Environments (MAHUE) at the Bartlett, UCL. She was Highly Commended at the International Women in Architecture Awards in 2014 and is a member of the steering committee for the Centre for London Urban Design Research (CLOUD). Assemblage are currently urban designers, coordinators and architects for the new, one-hectare, purpose-built design district at the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula, providing a permanent base for over 1,800 of London’s creatives.

Angela Dapper - Denton Corker Marshall

Angela Dapper is a partner at Denton Corker Marshall Architects.  Angela has led a number of projects at DCM, notably the new Stonehenge Visitor and Exhibition Centre. The project was met with international acclaim receiving numerous awards including a RIBA South West award, a Civic Trust Special award and the prestigious Jorn Utzon award for international architecture. As a result of her commitment to this project Angela was shortlisted for the Architect’s Journal Emerging Woman Architect of the Year, 2014. In addition to her work at DCM, Angela is also Part 3 examiner and occasional lecturer, and an advocate for equality and diversity in Construction.

David Kohn - David Kohn Architects

Elly Ward MorrisDavid Kohn is director of David Kohn Architects, a London-based practice working internationally on arts, education and residential projects. The practice is currently working on major projects for the Victoria and Albert Museum in Kensington, the Institute of Contemporary Arts and New College Oxford.

Yeoryia Manolopoulou - AY Architects

In 2014 Yeoryia was nominated Emerging Woman Architect of the Year. In 2016 she was the curator and co-author of the Irish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, presenting the multimedia installation Losing Myself.
Yeoryia is Professor of Architecture and Experimental Practice at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. She is the author of Architectures of Chance (Routledge, 2013) and the general editor of the Bartlett Design Research Folios.

Patrick Michell - Platform 5

Patrick Michell founded Platform 5 Architects in 2006, setting it up as a collaborative practice to explore creativity in the built environment. The office approaches projects by developing clear strategies and translating them into human scale spaces that enrich people’s everyday lives.

Patrick has always enjoyed the crafted nature of domestic architecture and has developed Backwater, a RIBA award winning house on the Norfolk Broads, as a prototype for an architectural holiday let business.

Jessica Reynolds - vPPR

 Jessica Reynolds is a director and founder of award-winning vPPR Architects. The studio focuses on the relationship between community, geometry and landscape, with projects ranging from urban masterplans to private houses, from cultural buildings to commercial refurbishments. vPPR explores the crossover between art and architecture in recent projects including exhibition design at The Hepworth Wakefield, and public realm design in Croydon. Jessica teaches Diploma 13 at The Architectural Association, and an advanced studio at Columbia University in New York.

Amin Taha - Amin Taha

Amin was born and lived in Berlin before his family settled in London. He is a partner at Groupwork, an Employee Ownership Trust of architects, engineers and related design disciplines, teaches, lectures and writes  on architecture.

Chloë Phelps - Common Ground Architecture

Chloë heads up the Common Ground Architecture team, a commercial architecture practice established by Croydon Council specialising in creating high quality new homes on tricky infill sites.  She is also Head of Design for development company Brick by Brick where she is responsible for ensuring design quality is realised on all projects from project initiation through to delivery on site. Prior to this Chloe had a leading role in the Placemaking Team at Croydon Council and as a Project Director at Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands.

Shireen Hamdan - Populous

Shireen is a Senior Principal at Populous, with experience of leading major international projects in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. Since joining Populous in 2008, Shireen has worked on a variety of stadia, arena, convention centre and motor sports projects, including Wimbledon Centre Court redevelopment for the AELTC, The Circuit of Wales motor racing circuit, and the 82,000-capacity Grand Stade for the Federation Francaise de Rugby.
