Green Grads Workshop: Explore Bio-Materials and Make Your Own Memento
"Bio" is currently the big buzz word in materials. Come and find out what it means, direct from the innovators themselves. GREEN GRAD designer/material scientist Mobina Rajabimoghadam of Bio Recursive has already won an Award from the Crafts Council for her innovative new Egshel bio-material made from… eggshells. And GREEN GRAD designer/weaver Yahvi Duggal runs the popular Peel Studio where food waste such as banana peel, eggshells and avocado pits is transformed into bio-yarns. They'll offer a fascinating insight into this new world of bio-materials, sharing their expertise and bringing samples of their bio-papers and bio-yarns. With their guidance, you can transform these into your own creations, exploring the potential of these wonderful new materials. Find Mobina on the GREEN GRADS stand in the Innovation Gallery.
