Rooted in nature, this collection of veneers from our Tabu Italy range in full-bodied earthy shades majors on mood and atmosphere, not just through carefully curated colour but also the unique textural grain patterns of each veneer species.

In burnished, inky, muted hues across the colour spectrum, the collection is designed to be woven into the backdrop of interior schemes, to layer character and comfort with a sense of relaxing immersion. A little bit moody with a hint of drama, the effect is quietly reassuring for a soft-spoken yet contemporary aesthetic.

Teamed with these hushed colour tones, natural wood effortlessly conveys texture, from the distinctive cathedral peaks of crown cut Ash, Bolivar, Walnut and Cherry to the tightly clustered pips of Birds Eye Maple and the shimmery figuring of Carbahlo and Eucalyptus.

Each of the veneers in the collection are from the Tabu Italy range of innovative dyed veneers, natural woods each with their distinctive grain and growth characteristics, expertly through-dyed for consistent colour depth with only a 0.2% variance between batches making them a clear choice for larger scale applications. The dyes and pigments are water-based and colourfast, and the veneer can be sanded without losing colour.

The range has been encapsulated in bespoke marquetry artwork, created by artist, Carl Fox, which will be on display along with our wider range on our stand at Surface Design 2026.
