ALPI Agreste is rooted in Estúdio Campana's observation of the arid landscape in the Caatinga, a dry shrub desert in Northeastern Brazil. Furthered by Campana's in-depth exploration of reclaimed materials for his work in architecture and design, the pattern evokes the primordial cracked surface of sunbaked earth. The two variants Ouro and Prata explore the dialogue between nature and design, inside and outside, by reinterpreting manufacturing scraps through a sophisticated upcycling process.
