Bethany Lennox

My name is Bethany Lennox, and I am the creator of Interiors with B. I am based in a small studio room in Scotland where I create digital and hand drawn designs that eventually become my interior products. Living in Scotland has so many benefits as one of my main inspirations is nature. I really enjoyed photography in school and find it the best way to obtain primary sources for the beginning of my designs. I currently work as a trainee interior designer after doing 4 years at university studying design for textiles. Continuously learning new design styles, techniques and colour combinations and keeping up with the latest design trends.  

My newest collection I am designing for the surface design show is based around renter friendly products. Thinking more about the end use and how functional a product is in someone’s everyday life. With an incredibly unpredictable housing market more people are turning to renting which doesn’t always allow the same design freedom. My aim is to learn more about reusable materials and create sustainable products that can make a house feel like a home.  

Not forgetting my favourite element of design – The collection will be created around colourways to fit in with 2024 spring/summer styles. Based on a traditional country garden, you will see a library of British birds and flowers throughout, all stemming from primary sources snapped by myself!
