The story of Marmi Ghirardi, founded in 1938 by Angelo Ghirardi with the help of his son Renato, is above all the exciting story of a family united around the art and craft of natural stone. The company was founded in a small workshop in Carpenedolo in a difficult pre-war context.
In 2017, Marmi Ghirardi officially opened its new headquarters and a particularly modern production unit equipped with the latest technology. In all, more than 600 square metres of office space and 5,000 square me- tres for the production and processing of natural stone, set in modern surrounded by greenery. Today, Marmi Ghirardi’s strength lies above all in its wealth of experience and know-how acquired from father to son over for over 85 years. It has also been able to evolve over time, adapting to new trends and the changing demands of modern architecture.
Technical choices and the selection of appropriate materials play a fundamental role in modern high-standard construction, as well as in the restoration of buildings and the conservation of architec- tural heritage.
