My name is Hedvig Skarstedt, and I am an architecture student at Central Saint Martins in London. My approach to architecture is based on merging architecture, science and design. The result is evidence-based design, channelling a dedication to creating spaces prioritising health and well-being, for all life on earth. This is done through an emphasis on material that benefits both the mental well-being of all species and the earth in which we live. In this journey, I aim to create structures and living environments that harmonize with individuals and the planet. I aim to reshape architecture into a dynamic fusion of art, science, and well-being for a sustainable and uplifting future.
The project I'm exhibiting, titled "Feeding Cities Locally," envisions a coexistence of humans, plants, and bacteria in a residential building transforming a city car park into a living space in London.
