Circularity in Lighting

Lighting is often the most visible aspect of energy consumption within the built environment. Whilst the transition to LED has reduced in-use energy use by circa 70%, this doesn’t factor in the embedded carbon from the manufacturing. This session will explore what more the lighting industry can do to further reduce emmissions, from the reuse and remanufacture of existing luminaire fitting to adaptive reuse of product.
