May Fawzy

May Fawzy holds a degree in Interior Architecture and began her career in Egypt, where she worked for several years as an Interior Architect on major commercial projects, including airports. After relocating to the UK, she joined Margolis Office and later Scott Brownrigg, before founding her own workplace design firm, MF Design Studio Ltd.

MF Design Studio focuses on workplace interiors and has delivered projects for clients such as Lebara, L’Oréal, Médecins Sans Frontières and Haysmacintyre. In 2016, the studio received the British Council for Offices Award (London & Southeast) and was a finalist in the 2018 Mixology Awards.

With over 17 years of experience in commercial workplace interiors, May also serves as a director of the British Institute of Interior Design. She mentors emerging designers, helping them navigate the world of commercial interior design, and assesses new members to ensure they meet the BIID’s high standards and professional code of conduct.
