Carmen Wochner
With over 15 years of experience in materials intelligence, Carmen Wochner has continually pursued new understanding in sustainable products across various industries. Her great passion for reuse, circular economy and responsible sourcing supports her work with designers in this area. She continually researches new materials, methods and innovations also.
Starting her career in graphic design and jewellery making, Carmen’s MA in Sustainable Design led her to her current role as Associate Director - Materials & Information at tp bennett, a large UK-based Architecture and Interior Design practice.
Her position at tp bennett is a specialist role which draws on her expertise in sustainable materials, leading a team who supports designers and architects with specification on projects, whilst also interrogating the supply chain through close connection with suppliers and manufacturers.
