Katie Treggiden
Katie Treggiden (she/they) is an author, journalist and communications strategist. With 25 years’ experience in the creative industries, she has written six books about craft, design and sustainability, the most recent of which is Broken: Mending & Repair in a Throwaway World (Ludion, 2023). They regularly write for publications such as The Observer, MIX Magazine and Dezeen. And their poetry has been recognised with an Endelienta Arts residency and upcoming publication in the third Moth Tales anthology.
Katie is a certified Blue Health Coach and nature facilitator, was awarded Homes & Gardens’ Eco Champion award for Thought Leadership, and holds a Master's degree in the History of Design from the University of Oxford. She is currently looking for defiant hope in the intersections between nature and culture through poetry and personal essays on Substack, the sixth season of her podcast, Brackish, and an upcoming book, Walking Home.
