Fanis Violentis is an interior designer at Gensler, working within the firm’s London Workplace practice on commercial design projects. His approach to design is shaped by a strong interest in how interiors can respond to people, communities and changing ways of working.

Alongside his work in practice, Fanis is passionate about advancing interior design education. He is a Trustee of Interior Educators, the organisation representing established interior design programmes across the UK, and has contributed to its National Student Awards as a judge across categories including sustainability, social justice and interdisciplinary practice.

His academic research has explored the role design can play in regenerating vacant retail spaces and supporting community-led initiatives on the high street. In 2026, Fanis was also shortlisted for the British Council for Offices NextGen Rising Star Award for London and the South East.
