SURFACE DESIGN AWARDS 2022 IS NOW closed FOR ENTRIES!
Surface Design Awards recognise and reward the most impressive use of materials in, and on, architectural projects from around the globe. Judged by some of the leading names in the industry, the 2021 edition had 107 entries spanning 15 different countries including India, Republic of San Marino, Oman, and the USA.
There are 14 Awards divided into 7 different categories with an interior and exterior surface for the majority. Each project is judged on a variety of criteria including materials used, type of surface, sustainability, and aesthetic design.
The 2022 Awards also include a new category of Architectural Photography which will recognise the most outstanding photography achievements on architecture and interior design. Both amateurs and professional photographers are invited to enter this Award.
Surface Design Awards 2022 new judging panel of industry experts will be Co-Chaired by Nicola Osborn, Basha-Franklin and Joseph Henry, Greater London Authority. They will be joined by a multi-disciplinary team of fellow judges selected from the architecture, design, and property communities.
Surface Design Awards is organised by Surface Design Show, the industry’s leading event for architects and designers and judged by a panel of leading industry experts.
Every shortlisted and winning entry will benefit from the vast exposure to the judging panel, on the Surface Design Show website, via social media, in the press, and to our huge audience of architects and designers. This means that Surface Design Awards will bring significant recognition to successful entrants.
The shortlisted and winning entry will also receive marketing materials to promote themselves.
All winners will be presented with a trophy on stage at Surface Design Show in front of the judges, sponsors, architects, and designers.
Projects can be submitted by the client, architect or designer, surface supplier or their representative.
Entries closed on Friday 24 September 2021. The winners will be announced on Thursday 10 February 2022 during Surface Design Show.
