With 180 exhibitors and over 5000 visitors, Surface Design Show is a unique gathering of the architecture and design sectors. 

Surface Design Awards

Entries for Surface Design Awards 2024 are officially open and will close for entries on Friday 29th September 2023. Our award categories, ranging from public buildings through to housing and temporary structures attracts projects of all sizes and styles. We also have a brand new award for this year, Surface of the Year Award. Each of these competing for the ultimate 'Supreme Winner' Award.

Main Stage Programme

Our Main Stage will host over 40 speakers across 18 different presentations. Highlights for 2024 include our Opening Night Debate and our Legends Live series. 

New Talent

Our New Talents always provide an exciting dynamic for both visitors and exhibitors as SDS enlarges its support for those starting their career in the design world. Curated by Chief Creative Director at Trendease International, Jennifer Castoldi, our New Talent section will again inspire and excite our audience. 

Surface Spotlight Live

Located right in the centre of the Show, our Surface Spotlight Live (SSL) corridor remains one of the highlights of every visitor’s trip to the exhibition.

Featuring innovative and tactile materials for our visitors to touch and feel, SSL gives a truly ‘hands-on’ experience for architects and designers to enjoy and learn from.

Speakers

Over 40 speakers from across the industry are lined up to speak in a mixture of panel sessions, debates and interviews. Choose the days you attend depending on the content that inspires you.

Colour Hive

With more than 20 years’ experience forecasting and publishing design, colour and material insight, Colour Hive communicate through inspiring concepts, intelligent analysis and beautiful design for their global clients and members.

Stone Federation

This area is ideal for architects and interior designers looking to find the right materials and products for their natural stone projects.  A mix of inspiration and information, The Stone Knowledge Hub is host to some of the leading names with the UK natural stone sector.
