SURFACE DESIGN AWARDS 2026

Surface Design Awards has been an extension of the Surface Design brand for 14 years. The Awards celebrates excellence in the innovation and use of surfaces across the built environment, the judges and team were delighted by the exceptional level of quality entries in 2025, and we cannot wait to open the awards for 2026. 

Surface Design Awards 2026 will be an evening event, on Wednesday 4 February 2025 at 6:00pm. If you have registered to attend Surface Design Show, your ticket will grant you access to the Awards. (Priority access will be given to the Awards Sponsors, Judges and Finalists).  

Entries will open September 1st 2025.

Commercial Buildings that are used for commercial purposes, including retail, hospitality, workplaces, factories and warehouses and buildings where commercial services are provided. At least 50 percent of the buildings’ floor space will be used for commercial activities.

These could be either part of the private or public sector and could be individual dwellings or multi-dwelling developments. Social rented, affordable rented and intermediate housing, provided to specified eligible households whose needs are not met by the market are included.

Interior: recognises wall, floor, ceiling and surface design products, including decorative, creative and inventive surfaces for the interior of buildings including both commercial and residential properties. 

Exterior: recognises wall and surface design products including decorative, creative and inventive surfaces for the exterior of building including both commercial and residential properties.
